A Typical Day
Dogs are all let out for “potty breaks” first thing in the morning (this us typically around 7:00am!) Right after potty breaks, dogs are fed breakfast. Post breakfast, dogs rest in their kennels for about an hour to allow their stomachs to settle. Then, the play time begins! Weather permitting, the dogs are rotated out into the large exercise yard all throughout the day to run and play! Dinner is then fed around 5:00pm. Dogs are let out again twice more after dinner: once shortly after dinner and again for the last time of the night between 10:30 and 11:00pm. Then, they are all tucked in and given a goodnight treat and its lights out until the morning!
Rates
Overnight rates are all inclusive. There is no extra charge for medication administration. Our goal at Grateful Dog Kennels is to have the dogs outside in the exercise yard a much as possible throughout the day and there is no extra charge for playtime in the yard! We believe a tired dog is a good dog! If you would like your dog to have a 1-on-1 nature walk around the property, there is a small additional charge!
30 minute 1-on-1 nature walk: $15
Cancellation Policy
We understand things come up! To help Grateful Dog Kennels to be the best they can be and plan accordingly for your pets stay with us, we do have a cancellation policy.
- 30% charge for less than 48 hours
- 10% charge for less than 14 days
Medical Requirements
- Dogs must be up to date the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- DHLPP (distemper/hepatitis/leptospirosis/parvo/parainfluenza)
- All dogs must also be currently on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
- Please bring a copy of your dog’s most recent vet records. If your vet chooses to
keep records electronically, they can be emailed to:
